This #BowelCancerAwarenessMonth, we’re supporting Bowel Cancer UK’s #PassItOn campaign by sharing the symptoms.
The earlier bowel cancer is spotted, the more treatable it’s likely to be.
Know the symptoms of bowel cancer:
bleeding from your bottom; blood in your poo; a change in how often you poo, or regularly having diarrhoea or constipation; losing weight but you're not sure why; feeling very tired all the time but you're not sure why; a pain or lump in your tummy; if you have any of these symptoms, it's important to ask your GP for an at-home test as soon as you can.
This Van Can
This Van Can is back in Greater Manchester talking about bowel cancer. What are the signs and symptoms? Why is it important to catch them early? What is bowel screening and how do you complete an at-home bowel screening test?
The van will travel round all ten boroughs of Greater Manchester, talking to the general public and answering the questions above and more. Find out everything you need to know.
