Repeat prescriptions

Click here to order your repeat prescriptions online via Patient Access

Dear patients

Please when requesting your repeat prescription it is unnecessary to request more than the amount that you are already prescribed.

It is advisable that your current repeat prescription quantities and duration must remain the same as before, this will ensure that community pharmacy can continue to manage stock levels in an already challenging environment.

All patients, including those who have been advised to self-isolate, should request their prescription electronically from the Practice and nominate a Chemist so that the prescription can be sent directly to them .

The Pharmacies have requested that you allow 48 hours for them to process your prescription..

NB: regarding paracetamol we are advised not prescribe paracetamol unless it is part of your routine prescription. Items such as paracetamol do come under self-care and you could use Community Pharmacy for support in-line with NHS England guidance.

The Boothstown Medical Centre team appreciate your support.
